1227821-783807-thumbnail.jpgAlexandra Wrage is the president of TRACE, an international non-profit business association helping companies raise their anti-bribery standards, while lowering the cost of compliance.  TRACE provides a series of tools for companies, including due diligence reports on commercial intermediaries, summaries of foreign law prepared by TRACE partner firms, benchmarking research and in-person and on-line training.

An international attorney, Ms. Wrage has created international due diligence programs for the retention and training of international sales representatives, consultants, suppliers, distributors and subcontractors and has drafted corporate anti-bribery policies and audited compliance programs.

Prior to her work with TRACE, Ms. Wrage held the position of Senior Counsel - International with Northrop Grumman Corporation for five years.  Prior to that she worked for MCI Communications in Washington, DC and the Middle East.  She joined MCI after several years as a business litigation associate with a Washington firm.

Ms. Wrage is Chair of the Women in International Regulatory Law  (“WIRL”) Steering Committee, vice-chair of the ABA’s Committee on Anti-Corruption Initiatives and Compliance Issues, a member of the Steering Committee for Business Principles for Countering Bribery and a member of the Working Group for the United Nation’s Global Compact 10th Principle.  She speaks frequently on topics of international law and anti-corruption initiatives and on the hidden costs of corruption. 

Ms. Wrage, a Canadian, studied law at Kings College, Cambridge University and lives now in Annapolis, Maryland.
